Evocative of light refracting in crystal clear water, wisps of cloud against a bright blue sky, and the city’s rich history of glass working, Poly encapsulates the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Sarasota. Blending in with its context by day, the sculpture transforms into a lantern-like beacon at night. Polyvalent in its form, meaning, and inspiration, the project is a vessel for public interpretation and imagination.

Poly was completed with the support of the City of Sarasota in 2025.
